Kasaragod cyber cell assists the investigating officers in crime cases,Man missing cases ,tracing the accused and in mobile missing petitions.Moreover kasaragod cyber cell conducted more than 500 cyber awareness classes through out the District ,and also conducting exhibitions regarding cyber crimes,IT Act,cyber tips,cyber assistance etc.In 2015 kasaragod cyber cell grabbed second place in the competition for"INDIAN CYBER COP OF THE YEAR 2014" shared with CBI.Kasaragod cyber cell also started a Facebook page and whats app for interacting with the public ,monitoring the social media and receive complaints and suggestions from the public and even to stop juveniles from committing crime by posting fake messages resulting communal violence ,personal harassment .This resulted in great success and we prevented many attempts to commit crime
