Kasaragod Police Inspector’s Office is situated in the middle of Kasaragod town, behind Kasaragod town Police Station. It is 1.5 KM away from Kasaragod Railway station and 250 m away from KSRTC Bus stand. The Circle comprises Kasaragod Police Station, Traffic Police Station and Alpha Control Room Kasaragod.

Kasaragod Police circle was re organized as per GO(MS) No.105/2002 Home dated06.07.2002 communicated under PHQ letter No.S (a) 10894/1999 dated 16.07.2002 comprising Kasaragod and Badiadka Police Station. Sri. PP Ravindran, Inspector of Police who held charge as the SHO Kasaragod Police Station was posted as circle inspector of Kasaragod as per DO No. 237/02 G Dated 30.07.02 of Superintendent Of Police Kasaragod. The Circle Office was started functioning from 01.08.02 FN in an old and Govt. owned building No. KMC 27/307 near Sub jail Kasaragod.

On 15.10.2003 Inspector’s office was transferred to new building constructed on the upstairs of Kasaragod Police Station building inaugurated by Sri. Venugopal K Nair IPS, Inspector General of Police, North Zone, Kozhikode.

On 29.09.15 a new building for Inspector’s Office was constructed behind Kasaragod Police Station building and was inaugurated by the Home Minister Kerala Sri. Ramesh Chennithala, in the presence of Sri. P Karunakaran MP, Sri. N A Nellikkunnu MLA, Sri. N Shanker Reddy IPS, ADGP, Nz, Sri. Dr. Srinivas A IPS District Police Chief, Kasaragod.
